Hi Lori.

Rolain
Thank you, Rolain. I’m looking forward to hearing about your children’s ministry in Africa. How fun! -Lori
It is fun and like any ministry it has challenges but God is good and we keep on growing from strength to strength. What are some of the challenges you face as a kids minister teaching kids?
That is a good question and you are right – God is good, we keep growing and children’s ministry is fun! One of the challenges here in the states is the mindset that children’s ministry is just a time to entertain kids so that the adults can go to church to learn from God’s Word, be inspired to change and live God’s way and to build friendships with other believers. But what if it was actually the other way around? What if the adults were just being kept busy and entertained so that the children can learn from God’s Word, be inspired to change and live God’s way and build friendships with other young believers?
Good point indeed….haha
We have that same challenge. Adults think we are a baby sitting agency but the important thing is we know what we are called to do. The kids are being impacted. My prayer is parents eyes will be opened to know what is happening.
Rolain
